Wake to sleep success?
« on: August 05, 2016, 09:44:39 am »
Has anyone had any success with wake to sleep?  My son is 2.5 and has always been sleep trained.  However have had issues with sleep lately.  Have just successfully dealt with night wakings but now dealing with 4:30 wake up time.  It's too early for him.  By 7am he's visibly tired.  He goes to bed around 8pm and usually woke around 6am. He has never slept past 7.  And 6am is a good time for him to get up.   He naps for roughly an hour to 1.5.  Just wondering if he is too old for wake to sleep?  Thoughts?

Not tried w2s with a toddler...but I wonder whether your LO might be at the start of the 1-0 & need his nap cut shorter? It looks like he's sleeping that extra 1.5hr of night sleep as a nap.
He will probably also need an earlier BT if you do that to compensate for less day sleep and an early wake up.
