Erm...(rubs eyes)...do I see an almost perfect EASY?  :o

WU and BT are exactly where you wanted them, naps are pretty good, not 1hr 30 but nearly and an 11.5hr night! It's amazing!  :D
- how is his mood? OK?  He seem happy enough?

So... if his mood is fine then I'd say leave things almost as they are now. Perhaps increase one of the A times a touch (first or second A time to 3hr 20/25, not the last A time before BT).  You could do this now if you feel things are not 'right' or you could wait a couple of weeks.  I would say rather than aiming for two long naps with longer A times which will end up not fitting into the day it would perhaps be more desirable to head for 1 slightly longer (1hr 30+) and one slightly shorter (1hr to 1hr 15) nap.  Have a look at the samples here for 9 months (not 8 months) as this is where you are heading to over the next month-ish
chronological EASY samples, 7-9 months

It's fine to have what you have now with the 2 naps being a bit under the 1hr 30 if his mood is okay.

I think we are done here - would you agree?

Thanks girls Im very proud of today we spent the whole day in the house which helped I just hope it's not a one of it always seems to go great then not so good least ino now it can be done and he was fine today really happy settled great for bed and for his naps
Just a quick question say if he fell asleep on the way bk from the school run say 5/10 mins max would I still put him for his nap at his due time I'm really hoping it doesn't happen but If it did this is what I'm worried about school runs and him getting sleepy and falling asleep before we get home
I think I will leave it how it his for a week or so see how he goes let him stay awake longer if he wants to and obv make activity time longer as and when we need to as ino he's getting older it's funny how happy I am and he is when e has two decent naps I agree I don't think two hour and half naps really work it seems to fit in better with the one long nap and then the slightly shorter one but still at least an hour
Thank you so much for your help girls
I don't doubt I'll be back when things go wrong lol but fingers crossed he's getting there x

It really depends on the LO. Some will just go and do their nap anyway, some won't. You'll find out.  You might end up making that nap much later to accommodate the micro-nap on the school run and then that nap might need to be short (1hr, could be less) so that you keep on track for the next part of the routine.
Not sure if you meant the morning run or afternoon run.  There are several options to fit the day in eg:
- micro nap on run, later nap, long first nap, decent A time, shorter second nap to wake up before school run
- micro nap on run, later nap, shorter first nap (to make sure enough time for second A time), decent A, long second nap to wake before school run
- shift the day, moving WU and all naps 15-30 min later means no micro-nap on school run because LO is not tired enough, decent A time, shorter first nap, longer second nap before school run so that the longer nap comes before the later BT

Lots of different options depending on how things are. I'd just go with the flow for now and see what happens.
Don't forget some LOs get one reduced nap towards 9 or 10 months and some even start the 2-1 transition around that time.

Yday was a nightmare would nap properly today has been an even bigger nightmare he woke up at 6.05am he fell asleep in his pram on the school run at 8.45 he had 45 mins so woke at half 9 I fort that will be him awake now til next nap due nope he fell asleep at 11.30 on the way to get my son from nursery that was only a 2 hour awake time he's screaming now he's tired I tried to lie him down for a nap as he only had a short 10 min nap 15 mins max but nope he won't settle I've got my toddler downstairs so I'm trying to settle him and can't and have to keep eye on my toddler today is a disaster and I've got another school run to do at 3.15 in praying he don't fall asleep then cuz bed time will be ruined d x

He's 8 months today so shouldn't be falling asleep after only two hours awake time surely X

Awhh hugs we have had the same with school runs. Fri fell asleep on way out of school so I drove for an hour lol...couldn't face short nap and he carried on sleeping for another 30 mins when I had to wake him as we had an appointment. Then fell asleep before school run at home but short napped then had to have CN at 4.30.

I'm just thinking I might have to deal with it for now until we get the feel of things. DS2 was in bed at 6.30 tonight so will be EW but couldn't keep him awake.

How's the rest of your day gone?
Zoe

So he slept well woke at 3.30am had some milk back of he was up at 5.45 which is expected as he was in bed for 6pm but that early wake up means he's almost certainly going to fall asleep on the school run this morning so that will no doubt be another short nap lol. X
