Sorry to hear he is so poorly vomiting, a bug do you think?
FWIW the advice is to continue milk and water even when LOs are poorly to ensure tehy don't become dehydrated - that said if you're avoiding sickness in the night by not feeding then this could end up being the time you wean those night feeds. It looks like there is some reliance there on feeding in the night to resettle.

Honestly I think you're doing remarkably well. 12hr nights plus a school run to deal with. Many people would pay good money to have that.  it's just you've a couple of NWs in there, and like I said that might be linked to feeding in the night.  Most formula fed babies will be dropping their night feed around now-ish and anyway only needing 1 rather than multiple.

Night feeds aside I'd probably not do the morning E until 6.30/7am as he's not taking much on WU and see if the amount improves with him being a bit more awake.

Hope he gets better soon. I agree with creations I think your nights are great, in time and pushing BT may get you a later WU but you could just have an early waker who likes an earlier BT. DS1 is like that....

Definitely offer milk still as he will need his vitamins as well as not getting dehydrated.xx

Thank you girls well I can hear a slight wheeze on his chest now we've got the Drs shortly to get him checked he's had Bronchiolitis a few times poor baby I agree he does do well and most night only wakes up once then has a few nights where he wakes up twice . I'm trying to stick to his routine best I can but hard with his being poorly I'm sure it will fall into place with school runs etc . He's just waking up now after a 50 minute nap and he was awake for 3 hours 50 mins which ino is slightly long but I left him with my partner while I did school run and he was still awake wen I got back
He is drinking more milk today and he has had a little something to eat bless him
I think I will try work on the night weaning to X

Morning girls so we've had a rough few nights he's finally feeling a little better and slept better last night he woke once the two night before that he woke loads and was awake a hour and half

1.30pm - 1oz sick al over me wen I went bk in
2am - calpol change sleeping bag
2.30am - moaning sip water
3pm - baby vicks
7.15am - up
7.25am - don't want milk
7.45am - ready brek
9.25am - 2oz
3hour 15 awake time
10.40 - lay in cot moaned 5 mins
12pm  - woke up (1hour 15)
2.15pm - Sunday dinner
3.05pm - 3oz
3.20pm - 3.50 little cat nap
6.20pm - 8oz

Monday 19th September 💙
2am - drained 4oz (almost 8hours)
5.30am - woke up
5.40am - got up
6am - 2oz

He went to bed slightly early last night as he had two very unsettled nights and not great naps
Hopefully now he's feeling a bit better we can start getting a bit of routine back
He was up late yesterday morning so yday was thrown of but he's awake at half 5 today
His naps never seem to be a hour and half anymore
Really hoping he doesn't fall asleep on the school run today we leave around 8.10am &a back for about nearly 9ish so really he should be able to stay awake to then nap in his cot

I'm not sure what to do with his bottles he isn't drinking much milk lately he has water with his food
Is it ok to give breakfast first at his age? But surely he can't be having breakfast at like 6am and them would I offer a bottle he's 8 months one week old now should his awake time be longer now x

Hi there, glad he's on the mend. I'd try and keep him up and get a longer lunch nap at say 12.30?

He's prob just catching up, with milk feeds you could offer in a cup at wake up, do you feed straight away? We always wait until 6.45/7 anyway and breaki at 8.

I normally offer it about 15 mins after we've got up as we can't do breakfast at 8 as I have to leave for school run not long after . Breakfast is normally around half 7 some days I won't offer milk when we get up and he has breakfast first this is if he has had a bottle in the night near wake up . I'm going to try keep him up I have to get my middle child from nursery at half 11 set out at 11.10 so I'll get my partner to watch him other wise he will fall asleep in pram again and have another short nap . X h

Sounds like a plan.

I'd offer breaki at 6.30 then with some milk in a cup and do rest of milk just before school run.
