7 month old wakes up at like 5ish

Thank you Hun if I wanted bedtime to be 6.30pm instead of 7 could I take the wake time from 6am I stead of 6.30 and shift everything half hour earlier X

Yes you can do that, shift everything the 30 mins from the example I gave.

Sounds like you had a good nap, creations has put everything beautifully and I'd second the keeping of 4 feeds in the day. We still have 4 day and often 1 at night now and DS2 is on 3 meals a day.

Keep plugging with those A times and you'll get there. xx

Thanks girls well we had a good night really he said woke at like 4.45 I fed him and he went back to sleep he woke at 6.15 and I'm sure that was only because his brother got up for the toilet we got up and I gave him a bottle at 6.30am altho he only drunk 1oz he's not really drinking his bottles past few days don't no why. Let's see what today brings X

Yes, good point.
I think I said I wouldn't tackle both the routine and the night feed at the same time but you could begin a gentle wean on that night feed, just reduce by 1 oz and take a bottle of water up with you.  If he drains the milk and fusses for more offer the water.  Do this for a couple of nights then drop 1 more oz.  If he does not drain the bottle note how much he took and make that the amount your offer the following night, then next night reduce again.  The NF will be gone in about 7-10 days this way..

We've had a good morning he was awake three hours I put him down for his nap ad he slept 1 hour 25 mins he's not drinking tho don't no why he got up and only had 3oz and that was a push I will defo try what u suggested with the night feed
It's coming up for three hours now he's tired and grumpy trying to keep him awake and entertained tho . His nap is due at half 1 and his bottle at half 2 do I just give it when he wakes up even if it's late X

Good nap  yes I just do bottle when DS2 wakes and then do one at BT regardless of time in between, like today he's only gone to sleep at 2 and feed due 3 ish but he's had solids lunch so this next bottle is sometimes smaller but he will still have BT one around 6.30 x

Thanks Hun well he's been napping a hour now I heard him stir but went quiet again
I'm really impressed . I just hope he still sleeps tonight after having what 3 hours worth of naps today saying that he Probally had around that normally just broken down in to 3-4 naps he obv isn't going to need a cat nap today either which is great I hope he keeps this up X
I bet it will all get messed up once the school runs start again lol X

3 hours in the day and 11 ish at night is normal at this age, often they sleep better x

Sounds like a good day.
Tomorrow I really suggest you do the full 3hr 15 mins as advised previously in the example routine.  3hr A time is suitable for a 6 month old, your LO is on his way to 8 months old so there are two things here. 1. You might be seeing a longer nap now but he is going to adjust to this new time quickly and suddenly it will not be long enough again, 2. after a 1.5hr nap he really needs 3hr 15 (if not longer) I'd like you to reduce to 3hrs only if you get a very short 40 min nap and can't resettle at all, 3. If you do not increase the A time to spread his awake time across the day you can end up with too long an A time before bed time or else having to give BT too early so that the A doesn't go too long, if the A to BT is too long he may have OT NWs or EW, if you do an earlier BT to keep the A reasonable and he manages a full night but can only sleep 11 hrs over night the Wu time will get too early which will then disturb the next days routine.

I may sound a bit pushy here, it's because I want to see your routine continue to improve and avoid EW, NWs and short naps.
Have another look at the routine on the previous page (change by the half hour if you have decided to do so) and really try to stick with that routine now

Thank you I will defo do the 3 hours 15 tomorrow I didn't want to push my luck today as he had done amazing to get to the full 3 hours now I no he was fine with that that I will move to the 3 hours 15 do uno was it the longest awake time he should have ? Or is it set to 3 hours 15 so even if he's ok does he go down then regardless ?

Morning so he woke at 2.30am for a bottle and drunk the whole 5oz which is rare
He went straight bk to sleep and woke at 5.30 which makes sense as he was in bed for 6pm I didn't get him up until 6 but he didn't go back to sleep but was resting with me so when would his nap be due do I count from 5.30 or still try and go from 6am

I'd try to keep near to 9am so you could go for 3.15 A time. Some count quiet time as half so 15 mins so class WU as 5.45 xx

Thanks Hun I will defo try tho I'm hoping he gets a good first nap were of out later pram shopping and getting my eldest uniform for school in Hoping tio be back for his second nap but can't be sure X
