Thanks girls he only had a short 40 minute nap yesterday Morning wouldn't settle bk of but had a hour and half in the afternoon plus he only got up at 6am today didn't have to lay in with me I'm happy with that 6am I can deal with gives me chance to get up and give him his bottle etc before my other two are up . Let's see how today pans out he seems to get really tired of a morning yet can go longer before bed but ino it affects him as he's more unsettled when he goes down for the night x

Yay for 1hr 25 nap :)

You may not be keen on this but it looks like an extra 10 mins might help.  if you can get one or both naps a bit longer it really helps to get the sleep across the day and reach BT.
I wonder if Zoe agrees?

Yes I'd definitely add a few mins just to get over the 1.5 hour mark, sometimes I need to add 5 mins to next A time of first nap was good to get longer second nap. Remember if he's looking tired a change of scenery helps x

Morning girls hope ur well so things have been going ok he's been having two naps in the day a hour and half long maybe 5/10 mins shorter on the second nap
Ino I'm still doing things slightly wrong tho as he isn't always going the full awake time which I do need to work on but I'm so tired he's gone from waking once a night to 2/3 times and normally he would go bed at 6pm and sleep untill after 12 could be up til 3/4am bottle and back down now he's waking before 12 and then again after
All three of my boys woke last night think they had a plan lol

I don't no if it's just his teeth causing him to wake well he has no teeth lol but sure he's teething or it's something I'm doing .
He's still been going to bed at 6pm even tho he's been getting up later but only because he's been coming in with me if he wakes before 6 but because his last naps ends at 3ish he's tired come 6 and I didn't no wether to keep him awake
Could going to bed to early make him wake more

So as u can see ino he's been getting up later and still going to bed at 6 should I change that ? And today I'm defo making him go at least 3 hours 15 because ino it will be changing again soon it's just hard when there tired and grumpy I'm tired and have two other boys running wild it's easier to put him down but ino I have to do something
Do u think the waking in the night is because anything I'm doing or just because he's teething ? Should I stop bringing him in with me of a early morning and just get up with him
Should ino offer milk every time he wakes at night I do it just to get him back of to sleep even tho I no he Probally isn't even hungry
He's of his milk In the day to
Sorry about the long post. X

Hi there sorry been busy all day, are the NW unhappy or chatty? I'd say you need to push BT out a bit so looking at your days I'd be sticking to at least 3.15 A as that's when you get the best naps.

If it's teeth do you medicate at NW?

Hi there. I'm just stopping by to let you know I've seen your post and will come back later for a read through.
If I am able to I will reply later, if not then it may be tomorrow.
We try to respond to posts within 24hrs so when you have new information you may not see a response for up to that amount of time. We are all volunteers here and many of us are out at work, have our own LOs to care for and family life etc.  We do try to reply as soon as we can.  Sometimes also it takes a while to read through the longer posts and give it some proper thought before responding.

Just going to see my DS off to bed now. x

Thanks girls i totally understand it takes awhile to respond babies keep us busy
He's been crying when he wakes I give him medicine if I feel he needs it I don't give it on a normal night when ino he's waking but when he's screaming and seems in pain I will sometimes give him some if bonjela hasn't helped
I going to make sure we're up for 6 from now on no sleeping in and bed for 6.30pm tommorw I'm going to follow the routine given to the exact times and see how he goes .
It's just so hard when your tired yourself I use to get the same early mornings wake up with my last son tho and just had to get on with it I refused to bring him in with me even of a morning he is doing a lot better day wise he's napping a lot better two naps rather than 3/4 cat naps so we're defo improving thanks to your great help X

Well it's great those naps have lengthened :)
and great that WU time is getting a bit better too :)

I do agree though that if BT keeps being on the early side then Wu will continue to also be on the early side. I'm sure those early morning snuggles are lovely but do be aware that habits form quickly, if you want him in with you at 5.30 every morning then continue, if not, well, only one thing for it - stop.

Looks like he was feeling a bit poorly.  I know you'll be keeping an eye on hard poos, tummy aches and teething.  All of those will add to the night disturbance of course.

I'd probably try to keep night feeds at least 3-4 hrs apart and get that milk back into the day time feeds.

I going to make sure we're up for 6 from now on no sleeping in and bed for 6.30pm tommorw I'm going to follow the routine given to the exact times and see how he goes .
It will be good to see how it goes.  I hope he's feeling better too.

He stired around 11.30pm but didn't go in u till 11.45 when he began to cry he had a bottle and went right bk to sleep he then stired around 3ish but I didn't have to go in and he went back to sleep he has not long woken at 6.20am :) didn't need to bring him in wiTh me which I'm not doing anymore anyway I'll just have to get up early if that's what needs to be X
We're taking my eldest to his first day of school today so won't be in for his first nap he will be with his nan so no doubt nap in his pram if he naps at all she has the habit of keeping him awake but we will see I totally forgot it was school today but I'm going to try and stick as much as I can to the routine from wednsday all will be fine and back to normal so can work of perfecting the day
He will be 8 months on the 12th what should his wake time be then X
