Removing swaddle
« on: August 22, 2016, 23:20:48 pm »
Hi all

My son is 4.5 months old and is sleeping well. He can flip from front to back but not back to front. When should I be looking to remove the swaddle? He is in a love to dream stretchy swaddle atm. Thanks.

The normal recommendation is to begin to wean once they begin to roll.  I tried weaning it at 4 months and my DD was having none of it, just flailed herself awake all night long.  So I re-swaddled and tried again 2 weeks later, and the same thing happened, so I waited another 2 weeks and finally weaned successfully at 5 months with absolutely no issues.
