Nearly 7 months old stil short napping
« on: September 03, 2016, 19:22:58 pm »
Ok so lately my daughter started showing signs she's capable of napping longer than 40-45 min. But she doesn't seem to get it all the time (like 75% of the time!)
We are trying to slowly move to BTC schedule as she will soon start daycare and nap time is at 13:00.

Why is she able to resettle only 25% of the time? She goes down awake, dark room, white noise, lovey and thumb sucking.

WU between 6:30-7:00
E 7:00
S 9:00 to 9:45 or 10:00
E 11:30
S 13:00 to 13:45 or 14:30
E 15:30
E 18:30
S 18:45 to next morning

Hi, I'd say she's UT that at her age A time is nearer to 3 hours. I'd push your first A time to get a longer nap and she will most likely resettle mid nap.x

My DS2 is 7 months (last week) and we are up to around 3 hours/3.10 depending but gets us a good 1.5 hours most times with no need to resettle.

Have a push and try a bit longer A time x
