4 month old Twins and EASY
« on: September 24, 2016, 21:24:24 pm »
Hi I have 4 month old fraternal twin girls. They currently sleep/nap in non-moving swings, Terin naps sometimes in a bassinet so I can separate them for their naps so they don't wake each other. They use pacifiers/swaddle. One of them is really bad at keeping pacifier in. Several questions:
1. I think Terin is ready for 4 hour schedule but Leah isn't. What do I do?
2. What's the best way to stop using swing and pacifier? Should I do both at the same time or stop pacifier use then stop swing? We're at our wits end, we want consistent naps where I don't have to go in and help all the time. We have a 5 and 2 year old also so my time is precious. Please help

Hi hun, welcome to BW! Just a few questions, how do you typically get them to sleep? Swaddle and put into swing, or do you have he swing on/moving initially? Short naps are really common at this age so it is normal to have to help through transitions and sleep cycles, but could you keep track of a day and post their routine so I can take a look? I get that you can't spend all day resettling both of them, especially if you have other LOs at home, so tweaking routines may be key.   It may be entirely possible one is ready to move to a 4hr routine before the other
