Starting to refuse bottles
« on: November 18, 2016, 01:41:10 am »
Hi all. So DD is 6.5monts now. She's been at daycare for 2 months. Before that she was EBF. She has typically only gone 3hrs between feedings when I"m home on the weekends. Typically she eats.

On a weekday
3:30am BF
8:30 Bottle. The babysitter tries to give it when she wakes at 7/730 but she refuses it at home. Will only take a bottle at daycare.
12:00/1 Bottle.
4:00 Bottle
7:00 BF
10 DF/BF

She is starting to not want that morning bottle till even later, and the 3rd bottle till right when I pick her up, so she then refuses it at all together. She only gets about 5oz in a bottle because she leaves some in the bottle when I try and offer more. Should we be spacing the bottles out more and adding more oz's? Or just spacing them out? Also I thought maybe I should drop the DF because maybe she's taking too much at night now and not enough during the day?

Is she having a DF and the 3.30am feed? I would probably try and get rid of the 3.30am feed rather than the DF.

How much solids is she having? Could it be she is having too much solids rather than too much milk?

I would actually rather do the 3:30 feed than the 10.00 I'd really like to go to bed early. I get up at 5am for work so a 330 isn't a big deal for me. But if it's affecting the morning feed then I could do that. She is very hungry at 330 and when I don't do the DF she still wakes at 330, when I do do the DF she still wakes at 330 and still take quite a good feed.

We just started solids. She's never really wanted to eat right away no matter what and she's only eating one solids meal a day? Could this be impacting it this much? She has maybe an oz or two once a day. She just started.
