Once we were on 2 solid naps the EWs eventually went away, and other than the odd time haven't really returned, even through the 2-1.

It's a dance and honestly while going through the 3-2 every day is different.  The best thing you can do is push those A times, especially the first one, which I know you are doing.  At a certain point even with EWs I didn't allow a nap before 9am, and just resettled if she woke at 30mins.

Ok I didn't realize the ew was from that. Yesterday he did stay awake until we got home 3 hrs 45 mins before his nap and he did nap well 1 hr 45 mins going to be the same today as he was up again at 530. Just hope up get a good second nap today instead of that 30 min catnap making the afternoon A time so long and bedtime struggles.

Ok  two days in a row now he's only taking a 20 to 30 minute nap in the afternoon.  Yesterday mornings nap was an hour and 45 minutes today's was one hour. Is three hour A time too long in the afternoon  or too short?    I can't get him to nap again in the late afternoon how early can I do bedtime?  Or I'm most definitely going to get EW's as well as wakings  shortly after going down for the night

What I found is my DD needed her 2nd A time to be longer than the first...before we hit the 2-1 she needed her PM A time to be a solid 30 mins longer (if we had a good morning nap).  So I think if you get a good AM nap maybe push the PM A time a bit, even 10/15mins and see what that does.

The earliest I personally do bedtime is 6:30, because I know the most my DD will sleep is a 12hr night.  That said she's a lot older, so I'd say for an almost 6-month old  a 6pm BT is probably the earliest I would do.

Ok I'll try the longer A time. He's still waking between 430-530 am! Today he was up at 445 I fed him and he went back to sleep until 7 am just wish I could get him to wake for the day earliest 6 and not have to worry about getting him back.

He fell asleep in the car on school run for 10 mins after 2 hr A time and a 1 hr nap this morning. I tried to extend the A time but I can't get him down. Will 10 mins refresh him? Yikes when should I try for another nap. It's already 3pn!

No luck with a nap. Now I have a baby that's been up since 115 and it's 415 hope he can make it to at least 6! One 1 hour nap today! This is awful. We just can't get on track and hes almost 6 minths old!

Sorry hun it's been a crazy weekend here!  If you feed at hat 4:30ish waking does he go back down? I'm honestly not sure what to suggest, we struggled with the 5:30am EW until she was consistently on 2 good naps.  This transition is so bumpy I know!
