Catherine, so glad you finally got a good stretch of sleep! We've had to adjust pjs and blankets to sleep so often here. If he's too bundled, i think it causes him to wake more. Do you find dd1 sweating at all?

Hopefully she keeps it up and the first wakes of the night go away. You need your rest.

no, I haven't noticed any sweating, but I'm sure I'll have to change things as the weather warms up..!

Maybe you could use a flat sheet instead of a blanket when it gets warmer

Hello Cath, how DD2 sleep is going? Still better with the duvet + blanket trick?

yes, still an improvement thanks :)  Not getting loads of NWs/night, but still two NWs/night.

One is for the toilet, and one is for the duvet (she manages to kick it down under the blanket, but the blanket stays put - I might have to work on my tucking technique).  Also still seems to get dreams too.

Not sure I can do much more about it though... :-\

On the plus side, by waking to go to the loo during the night each night, she's dry every morning.

mmh, probably you can try more with blankets. I have always loved to be perfectly tucked into my bed and duvets are against it. IMHO you could try using more blankets, all of them must be bigger than her bed to allow a strong tucking. Best are wool blankets, many of them. They must be heavy in physical weight for max comfort :)

My dream is to have something like a gro-to-bed in my bed!  ;D
