Nap dropping
« on: February 16, 2017, 19:56:16 pm »
Just a little question really.
How do you know when your lo is ready to drop naps altogether?
I'm not sure we're there yet, just curious about other people's experiences.
We are having some bedtime naughtiness, regardless of nap length or timing, but I think at my dd is almost 18 months we are in the midst of the sr!!
She does settle easily with a telling off lol,and no crying.
She has a pretty consistent nap time and bedtime schedule and can nap anywhere between 1 and 2 hours.
Like I say, just asking the question.
Thanks guys x

I imagine you are some way off yet! half year sleep regressions can play havoc and make you think you are there earlier than you actually are!

That's what I was thinking,  thanks for replying.
On average at home or with my mum or in the car, she can sleep anywhere between 1 and 2 hours. Now she sleeps on a mat at daycare she tends to only have an hour. Regardless of how long she naps, she seems to go to bed around the same time, give or take 15-30 mins.

Hopefully in a few days/weeks it will settle down again!

Thanks, I hope so, she always been such a good sleeper. It's hard to think ahead to bed transition etc without a feeling of dread and horror lol x
