How did the night end up being?

I'm lucky with DS2 as in he will CN and have a long nap still or just one nap or lots of CN if we're out and about and doesn't massively bother him but DS1 at this age I had to be set on nap at 11.30/12 no matter what time WU or he wouldn't nap.

If he won't CN then I think really you need to try setting the nap about 11am regardless of EW to try and balance your day.?

Hon being honest I wouldn't let him nap that long if he goes to sleep before 10:30/11:00z if he nods of at 9/10 wake him after less than 20min and offer a second nap.

I generally do the short nap as he's keener to have that earlier and then go somewhere that involves lots of activity so he's ready for nap again x

He seems reallt tired again this evening probably from last night I think he's teething to just hoping he sleeps tonight x

I think it depends on your child, mine likes a good 1.5 restful nap so I make the other shorter but if. 2 hour ones work for you then fine x

That's why I would strongly encourage you to wake him from the first nap very shortly after he statutes sleeping and let him do a longer second np without capping.

As said before it depends on his mood and nap time. If he woke early or is just tired in the morning And need a nap around 9/10am I would cap at 10/15/20min and do a proper nap later when you don't cap. If he is happy to go till 11 I wouldn't cap and go for 1nap day with bedtime at 6:30.
