Confusion over 3 or 4 hour routine
« on: July 02, 2017, 09:14:12 am »
Hi everyone,

I have twin boys 10 weeks old and we are trying to follow a half hour staggered 3 hour EASY routine.

The issue i have is often it takes so long to settle them both that they have only been in a good sleep for approx 20 mins when its time for a feed. They dont seem particularly hungry at 3 hours but they are unable to stay awake and cheerful long enough for a 4 hourly routine.

Any ideas?

How long do they sleep for once you have them settled?  I certainly wouldn't wake after only 20 mins sleep though....can you just let them sleep and feed on waking?  Do you have a routine post going somewhere?  It sounds like it's not really feeding that is the issue here and more a naps/settling issue - can we help with that?
