Sample routine 9 months low sleep need
« on: July 04, 2017, 18:55:40 pm »
Hello all,
My LO has been on EASY from the get go and we have gone through all of the standard regression/challenges expected up till this point.

She is now 9 months and seems to be ready to start 2-1 transition.

She tends to take a good morning nap 1.5-2h after 5h AT (eeeek) and I have to APOP for a short catnap PM after 3.5-4hAT.

I am wondering from Mamas with similar experience how you structured feeds (BF doing 4 feeds a day) and solid meals.

If anybody can offer up examples if their EASY routine from this stage, that would be helpful.

Hi there. I didn't respond to your post in the hopes that some mums with lower sleep needs kids might stop by.
As no one has responded I'll give your post a bump.

If you want to post your EAS as it is now I can look at it  and suggest any tweaks to E times - although I got the impression you wanted to hear from people going through the same.

She is going through so many changes so quickly that I feel a step behind with adjusting her meals. I have had some early nap wakes due to hunger, I think I addressed then she was hungry at different time in PM. This is where I am at as if today:

6:00AM WU (occasionally as early as 530... Then adjustments are made)
615 BF
745 breakfast
10AM large snack (early lunch)
1045-1100 sleep
1230-100 WU/BF
2:00 large snack
330-430 BF (this is where she was hungry early yesterday)
4-430nap (sometimes using nursing to APOP for nap)
43-500 WU
530-600 dinner
715-730 BT routine with BF
BT 730-745

It looks okay to me, nothing glaringly "wrong" like waiting too long for food or snacking or anything.

You have 4 (or 5 if APOP) BF and 4 solids meals/snacks which is fine.  It might feel like you are feeding the entire day but the routine is fine.

What you're doing looks good so I wouldn't change a thing if it seems to be working.
