Dropping the catnap
« on: September 16, 2017, 11:50:43 am »
Hi,
Is there a thread with sample routines for dropping the catnap? I think my DD I ready to drop it and have a routine change and want to read a bit to wrap my head around it.

She has refused the catnap 3 of 5 times the past 5 days, EW some days, and had one or both bad long naps some days.  She is 5 months 2 weeks old.ch

Hmmm, I don't know if that link worked (I have never tried that before) if not I would search "baby whisperer sample routines" and look at the 6 month plus option as that is the ~ time most babies make the 3-2 transition.

There are also some 3-2 transition threads as well.

I also have found the below link invaluable through out all nap transitions and routine tweaks.

My LO was showing signs of 3-2 at same age. Good luck and let us know if you have further questions.
