Today I got an even shorter nap one hour. He was up at 715 went down at 12 (after a busy active morning) and was up at 1! Yikes. Too little or too much A time. Most recently he was up at 7 and was doing a good nap from 1130-130

Ok I'll try for a 4.5 hour A time and see. What's the average for a 13 month on one nap? Although he might be getting a tooth. And he's climbing eveything! Thank god for that sleep sack otherwise I'm sure he'd be trying to climb out of crib.

From my own kids DS1 was up 6.30 ish nap 12.15-2.15 bt 7,30, but DS2 is higher sleep needs and up 6.45 still had CN 20 mins at 9.30 then nap 1-2.40pm bt 7pm until about 16 months.

I think it depends on the child really x

Some days he's doing a 2 1/2 hour nap and some days hes doing an hour and 10 minutes I can't quite figure it out. I've been trying to keep the A time to around 4.5 hours.

Good idea. If he's up at 7 I was doing 4.5 hrs A time nap at 1130. Is that ok for 13 month old? Yesterday he was up at 730 and did 12-230! But today was up at 7 and did 1130-1240

To be honest I'd set it at 12, give lunch at 11.30 so he's nice and full and ready for sleep x

Is it odd that usually no matter what time I put him down for nap whether it's 1130 or 1230 he  seems to wake most times at 130! So it could be a 1 hr or 1.5 or 2 hr nap.
