7.5 week old cat napping. Looking for help please
« on: August 21, 2017, 11:19:26 am »
Hi!

I have started EASY with my 7.5 week old loosely from the beginning. We used it with our now 5 year old and it worked great. Right around 5 weeks we went from every nap being 1-3 hrs so 20-40 minute naps. I'm not sure how to correct it at this point. She sleeps longer in the stroller or the car. My 5 year old heads back to school in 2 weeks and I will then have time to try to sort out these naps. What is a good A time to try to start with? She sleeps great at night 730pm-8:30am with a df around 11.
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the BW forum!

From my experience here, this seems common with some kiddos at this young of an age. Some parents have tried wake to sleep... as described in the below article.  Also linked here is the average A times at different stages/ages.  For the time being, gauge her mood before and after naps, and her feeding. Do you notice anything else such as gas or kicking?

So glad she is sleeping great at night!
