The length of feeds is generally a very unreliable indicator of how much milk a baby is taking in, because every mum-baby feeding relationship will be different. Some babies are quick feeders, some slow, some Mums have a fast let-down - there are just too many variables to put a time on the 'perfect' feed really

Far better is to look at your baby - are they content after feeds and coming off naturally? Are they having plenty of wet and dirty nappies and growing appropriately? If all those things are in place it sounds like you are doing a great job
