4mo teething?
« on: November 12, 2017, 18:44:08 pm »
DD2 hardly fed at all today. She had a normal BF at 8am and I could not get another drop into her till 4pm, when she had a bit, tiny bit more at 5 and a half feed at 6, nothing for BT 7.30pm!
She keeps looking away, pushing out with her tongue and even bit a few times.
Otherwise she’s all happy and smiling. So what’s going on, can she be teething at only 4mo?? She’s been a bit drooly and been gnawing in her fists for a month now, so I haven’t noticed anything unusual today besides not eating.
Can she get dehydrated not eating 8h and what do I do?

Not Sure, something is up. Lots of crying, nw for hours, bit snotty too. She’s either starving and guzzling milk or won’t eat at all and bites instead. I’ve given her paracetamol twice and that helped I think.
Exhausted mom and baby here.
If she feeds 3 a day full feed it should be enough to keep her from dehydration right? 2-3 NF too.

Just remind me, if she’s teething the biting is normal right? Also ok while being carried bit cries when she’s put down or suddenly wakes up after 20min asleep at night crying.
DD1 showed hardly any theething symptoms at all, just drool and hey presto, tooth in the morning.
Not too sure how it’s supposed to look lol

Hmm well 3 feeds a day is less than ideal so just keep an eye on her hydration levels.

Could this be reflux?

Doubt it, especially since it came on out of the blue. And then went away 2 days later. She got ended up with a bad cold after so thinking maybe that? Although why she but me instead of feeding I don’t know.
We are back to 7-8 feeds in 24h now
