15mo suddenly EW/NW?
« on: December 01, 2017, 13:19:19 pm »
Hi,
I have a little problem with my daughter. She's been a great sleeper for the last few months and suddenly 2 -3 weeks ago she started WU at about 5-6am and being unable to put herself back to sleep. She's an independent self soother, she used to put her pacifier in her mouth and fall asleep again. Now when she wakes up she is unable to do so, I enter the room several times as she cries, stroke her, comfort, whisper and leave the room, she's quiet for some time and then starts crying again. The only think that helps in the end is a bottle of milk, which she used to get in the morning. Then she goes back to sleep by herself. I think she started WU for the milk, which is weird after so many months of not doing it...
Our routine:
WU; 7/7:30
Nap: 12:30/1 - 15
BT: 7:30/8

I would appreciate any ideas, it's really exhausting :'(
Thanks!
Hanna

Ho Zoe,
usually 2-2.5 hrs, she would probably sleep even more, but we usually have to go to pick up my son from school, so I just wake her up.

It could be she’s a little UT a lot of lo’s this age need a 13 hour day so maybe just push BT by 15/30 mins, as she’s getting a long nap it might be robbing from night a little x
