When do they stop needing nap pushed to prevent EW?
« on: January 30, 2018, 04:15:14 am »
Hi there,
LO will be 2 in 2 weeks.  She has always had issues with EW so we've always pushed nap as late as she could handle.  Nap has been around 2 pm for a while now.  She used to take 2+ hour naps and wake around 6 give or take.  Now they're 1.5-1.75 hours and she's waking before 6 am almost every morning.  I don't really want to push her nap later because I need to pick my son up at a certain time but wondering if this is my only way to correct the EW.

Thanks!

Hi it could just be a sleep regression they get them around they’re birthdays.
My DS2 is 2 (today) and sleeps been a bit funny for a few weeks on and off. I’ve also had to start reducing nap to 1.5 hours x

Was just wondering about that!  She's been taking forever to fall asleep at night even with a shorter nap and today I woke up at 5:20 and saw her already awake and fidgeting after falling asleep at 8:15!  Will wait it out for a while, thx!
