32 months ew
« on: March 02, 2018, 07:25:19 am »
Hi ladies,

Wondering if anyone can give me any words of wisdom.

My LG is over 2.5 and hasn’t napped every day for about 6 months. She doesn’t nap now unless we are on a long car journey late afternoon. We don’t like her to nap as it delays bedtime a lot.

She was doing well, adding on her lost nap at first having about 13.5 hours sleep and we had levelled at 12 hours sleep and she was good.

For the past week or so she has been waking earlier and earlier and I don’t know why? I am not keen for her to nap but today she was awake at 5.50 so I don’t see her making it to 7pm bedtime.

She goes to bed at 7 and is asleep within 5 mins?

Thanks

The mornings are earlier and lighter now - is her room totally blacked out?
I tried my DS without blackout through the winter when it was nice and dark but the moment the sun rise was earlier he started waking earlier again and wasn't getting enough sleep. I have 3 layers on his window now to keep every bit of morning light out. It amazes me that "light" gets in even when I look out the window and consider it still dark and night time.  As soon as I fully blacked his windows out again he slept on to his WU time.

Thanks for the reply. She has tin foil round the edges, a blackout blind and black out curtains so I hope it isn’t that!   ;D

Could you try pushing her BT back a bit and see if the pushes WU later?
