Cold turkey nap drop
« on: April 09, 2018, 20:32:37 pm »
Anyone done cold turkey nap drop and lived to tell the tale? 🤦‍♀️😂
I’m not in a desperate hurry but just asking the question as feel it may be something I have to think about when my littly moves up to pre school room in a couple of months as I’m not sure they encourage naps in there 🤦‍♀️
Currently in the 2’s room they nap straight after lunch for about an hour and this is the routine my dd follows and is a bit awkward when we sway from it much 🙈

We did! All DD’s naps were dropped cold turkey to be fair! Her last nap was gone by 2.5 as she was sleeping less at night. It was fine, she adjusted well within a month, the only thing was we couldn’t take her out in the car around tea time as she would fall asleep and that messed bedtime up!!

Thanks.
To be fair and with fingers crossed, night sleep is still around 10.5-11 hrs with an hour nap so don’t think she’s ready yet.
Good to know they do manage eventually if need be.
