Think we got about 11 hours maybe??!!
She was awake when I checked her at 6:15 but not sure how long she’d been awake. She seems her normal self this morning. She can be hideously grumpy if I think she’s had a good night so who the heck knows 🤦‍♀️🙄

I’d take that as a good night. Is it the day with your mum today?

Lol well remembered 🤦‍♀️
I’ve asked her to offer nap as normal. Of course she had to argue with me 🙄
I said no nap after 3!!
She said last week she said she didn’t want to sleep. I said she will say that she’s a toddler 🙈but you need to offer anyway and if she chooses not to sleep she can have ‘rest’ time anyway.
Blummin mother!!

I think cos she’s always been quite a good sleeper I just worry she won’t get what she needs 🙄
I know their sleep needs do change at times, it’s just been a long time since we did a nap drop. She dropped to one nap around 14 months and has been pretty consistent until now. Leads you into a false sense of security 😂😂😂

Zoe, I’d like to say a massive thanks to you. I’ve been having cbt sessions for my anxiety and think your kind words and support have been of more benefit. Sometimes you just need another mum to say, ‘it’s ok, your child won’t come to any long term harm from their sleep being a bit messed up for a bit’. Deep down I know this is true and just needed someone to tell me it was. So thank you from the bottom of my heart xx

Shock horror no sleep at nannas, but like I said she probably didn’t overly encourage her. She did say she had an hour quiet laying down ??
She was upset tonight and we managed to do a swift wind down for 30 mins cos nanna doesn’t get that concept either. We got her into bed at 6:30 and she settled straight away.
Not sure we can maintain the early nights tho as we are away in our caravan this weekend so we may have to try and get a car nap in if she won’t settle anywhere else 🙄

At least you know she can cope with no nap and early bedtimes work, it won’t be forever as she will get used to no day sleep and then you can just shift BT a bit later....but defo the odd 20 min car nap here and there will help you get a bit later BT.

If your on hols just enjoy it xx

We had EW too, must be something in the air! So if I were you I’d get a car/buggy nap in about 2pm and then you can get later BT x

No can do, Nursery today 🙄 gonna have to ride the storm. She’s in a good mood tho and has had her first dry night in ages!! I watched her on the monitor get up and use her potty, not done that in about a month. We’d been pretty much dry before that. Think daddy coming home upset the apple cart a bit maybe, or possibly the whole sleep changing stuff has something to do with it. Who knows 😳
