24 weeks, night wakings 3 hours after bedtime
« on: May 07, 2018, 21:28:49 pm »
Hi

I could do with some routine advice please.

My little boy has started waking 2.5-3.5 hours after bedtime hungry. He sometimes doesn’t but sometimes does. He will then often wake again around 3am.

His normal day:-

7.30am - wake up

10am - 11.30/11.45 - nap

2.30-4 - nap

7pm ish bedtime

He has bottle feeds every 4 hours..

I just can’t work it out.

Thank you x

Its pretty normal to need 1-2 night feeds still at this age. Is he draining the bottles you're giving through the day?

It may also be overtiredness - that 3hr A to bedtime is perhaps a little much for him at this age - its pretty early to be on 2 naps.

Thank you!

Some bottles are drained, done aren’t. The night to tine one’s are 6oz where’s some others are usually 8.

What A time to bedtime would you suggest? X

I'd probably try making his day longer and adding a catnap of 20-30mins rather than making his day even shorter. You could get away with 2hr to the CN and 1.5-2hr after it.
