Wakes up after an hour - without fail!
« on: May 10, 2018, 17:47:35 pm »
my 15 m.o is taking finally taking longer naps, i had to get her used to being up for a little longer in the morning.
now she eats lunch before she goes in and i'll get at least an hour and a half and up to 2.5 hours!

my only concern is, no matter how long she sleeps at the 1 hour mark, she wakes up. she'll cry a bit, find her paci and eventually go back to sleep and sometimes she'll need help getting back to sleep.

i've tried W2S and it hasn't helped, maybe i'm doing it wrong?
any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like something my DS did at one time. It turned out for us that he was a little UT and just couldn't transition smoothly at the end of his sleep cycle.  An extra 10 min A time might help.  At this age the 1hr can be a full sleep cycle.
Not sure if you go on A times each day or if you have a set nap time, I'd go for set times now, when you need to move it a bit later it becomes "set" at the new time again.
