Rolling over & ruining naps
« on: July 25, 2018, 16:55:57 pm »
My almost 5 month old son is rolling over from tummy to back. He’s a tummy sleeper & does it in his sleep when he’s starting to stir between sleep cycles. So instead of transitioning through the cycles for a 2 hour nap, he’s waking up after 40 min, talking & fussing. When I walk in to help him go back down, he’s smiling & talking to me. Then he refuses to go back to sleep. Other than WTS, does any one have any suggestions to help with this?

Sorry you've waited so long for a reply!

Is this still happening? Sometimes it just happens with a new skill and resolves without any great change once the skill is mastered.

How does the EAS look? This is a classic age to find that LO's A times just aren't long enough and he might be waking even without the rolling. An increase in A time can heklp with that rather than WTS.
