Thanks for that, we did see a speech therapist when he was six months old and they said that his sucking action was fine in the end, however we did discover that he had a small top gum and the skin between the gum and top lip was very tight, this all changed as soon as he got his two front teeth.
My own instincts have told me that teething played a very large part in all our problems too as my darling DS is really quite unwell just before he gets a new tooth. I would like to see a board for teething to help other mums, as I was constantly looking for advice on signs, so if anyone knows how to get a board started?

Thanks again I will keep that in mind should his speech not develop properly, he does say quite a few words even at a year old like Goal, Ta, mumma, dadda, car. What are other signs of tongue tied for anyone else who reads this thread?
