I discovered Tracy's first book when I had my first child in 2006. I found her book when he was four months after reading many books. None felt right until I read hers, and I wish I'd had it from day one. She writes so much in the present as if she is speaking directly to me that some days I felt she was in the room. When I am following E.A.S.Y or seeing myself do some AP, I hear her voice.
When I discovered her death this year, I felt a huge wave of sadness. I was shocked because her presence is so strong in the book, I could hardly believe she had passed.
I had wanted to write to tell her an enormous thank you for sharing such love and wisdom about how to raise a child so lovingly. It is very heartening to know she has two daughters and who are dedicated to this work. I'm sure they will pass on what they've learned and add their own wisdom as well.
To every new or struggling mom I meet, I tell her about the wonderful methods Tracy has developed. Thank you Tracy, and Thank you to her daughters. My condolences to all.
