This is strange and i'm not sure what to do.....
Meg has been sleeping SO long...for ex. last night i put her down at 7 and she slept until 8:30am this morning!! this has been going on for a few weeks now.....so, i can't really put her down for a nap until 11:30 ealierest..but then that doesn't leave room for  a 2nd nap...do i just keep her up until 12:30 and do ONE long nap .....
p.s..she's ONLY 9mo's old and i was NOT planning on going to one nap yet!!

anyone else hvae this happen to them? i cerainly didn't think when she went to one nap it would be b/c she was sleeping sooooooooo long at night???

Kiandra did that for a few weeks at around 11 months...she would sleep till 9:30, so I'd keep her up till 1 and she'd take a really long nap.  It passed though, and she was on 2 naps till 18 months...I say just go with the flow and see what happens...or else wake her up earlier in the morning. :)

Same here! you are lucky to have so much time for yourself and not have to get up in the early hours!  :)
Maybe she will settle down soon. My boy is 3 months old and has never slept through, although it is getting better. They seem to change their routines all the time don't they?

hey nicole...just wondering what happened with this. we`ve just started going through the same thing. yesterday we only had time for one nap, and this morning it`s 8.50 and she`s just waking so i`m guessing the same will happen and she`ll be overtired by bedtime and have problems with night waking like last night. did meg stay on one nap or go back to two? cheers...

See if you can't move her bedtime back a half hour to an hour for awhile, OR, try to wake her up at her normal wake time.  You want her to have a shorter morning nap earlier (hour-1.5 hours or so around 9 am or so), and a longer nap in the early afternoon if you can. See if that helps...

Hi Meg´s mom!
just checking my posts I re-read the one I wrote to you... It sounded kinda rude... SO SORRY!!
Didn´t mean to sound like that! I recognize that with our babies, even the smallest dilemma IS a dilemma.... so just wanted to apoligize.

Sorry, i totally forgot about this and i've been superbusy!
NO offence taken 'twiceamamma". so don't worry:)
So.....Meg is still doing 13-14 hrs each night ...BUT we have slowly brought bedtime backand now some days its at like 6:15pm~~ becuase her ONE nap is only 1.5 hrs long (not long enough)!!  so its something like this:
6:30 bed
8am wake
12-1:30 nap
6:00 pm bed....b/c she's so tired by then...
i'm not sure what to do. i dont' wan tto go back to two naps b/c they only end up being like 45-75 min long....
some days she does do 2+hrs but its not consistent yet! the only other thing i can think of is to keep her up like 5hrs in teh morning so she'll sleep atleast 2hrs but its hard if we're at home cause she gets reallly fussy and tired.....
any suggestions?
sorry Cazao, i can't help at this point....this is where i'm at!
