he is SOOOO cute!!!!  And he looks so LONG in that pic!!  I meant to get one of Cait in the exersaucer, but my brain is fried right now.  She is still napping so hopefully I will get one this afternoon.

Christine- OMG!!  Poor Brock!!!  What do you think caused all of that?  Ry has only thrown up twice in 4 years, and so far Cait never has, but boy let me tell you!!!  I do not look forward to that day!!  I don't like to throw up, much less watch/help my kids through it.    Glad to hear that he is feeling better. Tell Grandma next time to not stuff him so full.    And thanks for letting me see the "brighter" side of my predictament.  :D

Shall we rename this thread "Sick Babies June/July '05"

HAPPY 6 MONTHS, AIDEN!!!!    :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Poor Brock!  Luke had the projectile vomit at 9 weeks, but in hindsight, I think it was the beginning signs of reflux.  Man, I never saw vomit shoot out like that, though.  As for your mom, has she recovered?  That has to be traumatic!

I just called the doc again and talked to the PA.  Luke's little butt is just so, SO raw  She's calling in a Rx for some Boro Paste (I think that's the name of it)

I say that at 7:30 pm Central Standard Time, we all have a glass of wine, a beer, or whatever makes you happy and toast each other.
God will give you exactly what you ask Him for, even if it's not in the package you expected it to be in.

bj- thanks for the concerns!

I guess I kind of forgot to include the important art of how he got sick....oops  :)  My husband came home from work yesterday morning throwing up everywhere!!!!  He is still in bed as we type!  We think he has a stomach virus.

That would also be another important part of why I am so tired right now...taking care of 2 vomiters!  Plus, my husband is so sad to be on bedroom "lock down" and not able to see or be around Brock.  :(

Awwww, I'm so sorry to read about so many sick babies!      The worst thing in the world is a sick baby!  MY niece has had a horrible cold and lingering cough since about 3 weeks ag, and since I take care of her in the afternoon I get to see that worst of it.  I do evrything in my power to keep her away from ds, but the love each other so much that it's hard!

And poor Luke and his little tooshie! I hope it heals quickly!

And as for white poop? Hmmmm, haven't seen it be WHITE but very very pale when he eats soursop, but other than that it mostly colorful.

Ok, well, we just went to the doctor AGAIN.  I told my pediatrician "When you decided to take us on as new clients, I bet you didn't think you'd see us three times in the first week."  To sum it up, Luke turned into a strawberry.  It started on his forehead and moved down his body.  He's having an allergic reaction, we think, to the shot.  Sooooooooo, he gets Benadryl three times per day and we're going to start a NEW antibiotic tomorrow.  Oh, and did I mention that both ears are STILL infected and he's running a fever?  I am losing it.  I just started bawling in the doctor's office.  I just want my little dude to be well.  It seems like he's been sick from one thing or another since September.

Amy,

I am so sorry to hear about Luke. You poor thing and I feel for you.  I know when my DD just had an ear infection, I felt so bad for her and you have it so much worse.

I hope that he feels better soon and that you get a bit of a break as well. Hang in there. I try to always remember, "this too will pass."

Happy 7 months to all the LO's. Abbi will be 7 months on Sunday. Boy has time gone by quickly.

Well, gotta run. I am doing an online class tonight for my Master's.

POOR LUKE!!!
I feel for him and you!
Ask your doctor about a butt cream called Grooms Ointment.  My mom had her day care 3 years ago she used to be able to just go in to the pharmacy and ask for it and they would make it up.  She gave me what was left.  Now you can only get it by Rx.  It works MIRACLES!!!

I hope Brock is feeling better...and Cait...and all the sick babies.

DH had a cold the past week and I think me and Jency came down with it today.  I am just feeling really run down and tired and that is ALWAYS how my colds start.  Jency didn't eat any solids until 6:30pm and he would not let me leave him!!  And he took at 2.25 hour nap this afternoon on top of his 1.5 hour nap this morning and then he took a 30min cat nap this evening!  Other then that he has been SO good.

Last weekend we went up North (3 hour drive) to go to a Bridal thing that my sister was going to...Oh ya, my sister just got engaged and is getting married June 10th!!  We went to a try on for gowns and then a fair type thing for wedding stuff and then drove home, stopped at village inn and ate dinner.  Jency was SO GOOD!  he was a charmer even though he only got an hour nap on the way up and a 1.5 hour nap on the way back.

Thanks for all the hugs, everyone.  We'll be ok.  I just wish that this New Y ear's Eve gift wasn't the gift that keeps on giving.  We're ready to be done with it!

I had my beer at 7:30, so CHEERS everyone!

Darm, I finished the wine last night.

Poor Luke. Amy you deserve a case of beer.  {{{{{hugs}}}}}  all the poor sick babies, I can't believe it.

On an up note, I actually got owen to eat.  I tried after keeping him off it for a few days.  What I did is give him the spoon, and although messy, he ate the little that made it to his mouth.  I guess I'll just have to make a lot to ensure he receives enough.  It was soooo cute.
