Question on catnaps
« on: August 04, 2005, 01:22:25 am »
Hi,

My daughter is almost 6 months old - we've just started to get her on the 4-hour EASY schedule, and it seems to be working in lengthening her naps. (She took a 1 hr. 40 min. nap this morning, and 1 hr. 30 min. this afternoon.) She does seem to still need the catnap between 5 and 6pm, but PU/PD is taking so long that it would probably be past 6pm by the time she fell asleep. Should we just give up the catnap, or go ahead anyway and get her to fall asleep even though it's so close to bedtime (7:30pm)?

Thanks!
Melanie

Question on catnaps

Can she sleep in the car?  Go for a short ride, or let her sleep however she wants to.  Don't worry with the PU/PD for the catnap.  Just let her sleep however is the sure fire way.  She'll be dropping it soon anyhow.
