Strange nap habit

Hello...

My 11 1/2 month old ds has been taking 1 nap for about 6 wks now,,,he has an early lunch 11.30 and is generally asleep by 12 - 12.15

The past 3 weeks he wks he always wakes after 1 hr 15 mins crying,,,i go to him and lye him back down once and he goes to sleep for another hour  :roll:

dh thinks that this isnt a problem and i agree to some extent but i was wondering why this is happening......

Does anyone have any reasons for this?  ...(It never happens at night)

We had/have that sometimes, I think it is that they go through a change in sleep cycle & when they had 2 naps they woke up refreshed, but with one they are still tired after the cycle, but they wake up from it & then need more... I found it frustrating as I was preg at the time it happened I having a rest myself, so I got woken too! But after a while it seemed to stop.
