Has anyone gone cold turkey with stopping nightfeeds (for breastfed babies) and if so did it work?

Hey you its me!!!!

We didn't go cold turkey but each time I fed Autumn I did it for less and less amount of time...quite drastically though not over a long period. I would bf her before bed then when she woke I would feed her (we never really had set feed times just when she woke about 3x a night and I only used to feed for about 10mins anyway as thats all she would take each time) I dropped it every couple of nights by a minute or two.

She continued to wake through the night but I introduced her to the soother and that was all she wanted seemingly...something to suck on.

Do you think Finn is taking enough calories during the day to fill him up. Is it just a habit for him now or is he genuinely hungry?

Give it a try and let me know...talk to ya soon
