no longer hungry at meal times?
« on: August 10, 2005, 15:21:26 pm »
I have a question i was hoping someone could answer for me...
Meg is 21 weeks now, and has been fine with solids since we started at 14 weeks.  She eats 4 times a day, once is just milk the other times i give solids and then the bottle, and she drinks a good 20-25oz a day.  Recently she has stopped acting hungry at her usual meal times (7, 11, 2, and 6) and seems to be less interested in eating during the day, although she is still hungry in the evenings at 6pm before bed.  I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? should I cut out her 11am feed and move the 2pm forward and just give her more then?  Any advice gratefully accepted!

it may just be a temporary lull in eating...my dd does this sometimes.  she will not eat well for a few days, then pick up right where she left of eating everything in sight.  but if it continues for more than a few days, or she starts waking up hungry in the night, then she may be ready to move her eating schedule around.  they like to keep changing the rules on us!!

She's not teething is she?  That can make them go off their food.

Just an idea!
