feed straight away?

Just wondering if people feed straight after getting your baby up? I know EASY should be eat and then activity, but does anyone choose to have 10 minutes of awake time and then feed, then activity.

I am wondering whether to sit DD in her rocker for about 10 minutes before her feed to let her 'wake up' a little and therefore it may encourage her to eat more???

we always have some A time first - dd2 likes to adjust and have a chat first - we usually feed anywhere from 10-30 min after waking and naps. HTH.

I've been doing that too, because most of the time DD isn't that hungry first thing.  Sometimes she is, but mostly she's not.  I was feeling a little confused about it too.  Today, we fought for our afternoon nap, and I ended up feeding her and putting her to bed because she wouldn't eat through her whole A time.  I feel really guilty about that because she's sleeping so good now.  Ahh, hope I didn't create a monster.
