Yay, I'm so excited. I just got my gyno to give me a prescription of Dr. Newman's ointment as well. No one in his office had heard of it nor the pharmacy but they all worked together to get it for me. I'm so excited! And my insurance covered it as well. The dr's want me to let them know how it works  :lol: .

My Dr.'s office was excited about it as well.  They actually took a photocopy of the Candita Protocol and was showing it to others before I even left the office.  I was glad to see that they were really open to hearing about new things. However, it felt sort of weird that I was educating them.  I feel like I learned more from all you BF gals than they knew.  But like I said, I'm glad they were open to learning from a patient..

I tell dh this all the time  :wink: . Thousands of women who have been through the same thing is a better resource than any dr. IMHO!!

I see that this is an old post, but I am suffering from the same problem. Did your Thrush go away? If so how long did it take. I just got the GV treatment yesterday and I am getting APNO tomorrow and more GV from the Pharmacy. I have been pumping and bottle feeding because I can't bear to nurse and I can put up with a lot of nipple pain. The white patches seem to be gone in my LO's mouth, but I am still red and sore. Any help would be appreciated!
