Sleep Cycle Question
« on: August 23, 2005, 19:18:43 pm »
My lo gets out of her deep sleep at the half hour mark. Since she's eight months old, I go in at 25 minutes and hold her down, so she gets from one sleep cycle to her next. So, we're getting one hour naps. Do u think if I went in again when one hour was coming up, she could extend it longer? I've not tried it yet, but before her surgery, when I went in at 25 minutes she would sleep anything between 1.20 - 1.30 hours. Now its an hour. Her awake time for her morning nap is 2.3 hours, and for her afternoon nap is 3 hours.

Thanks for any input.

Sleep Cycle Question

You could try, it won't hurt.  If that doesn't work, try increasing A time for nap1 to: 2.5 and nap2 to: 3.25.  We were about that at 8-9mos.
Glad to hear she is doing well after her surgery.
