What was (is) your lo's favorite baby food vegetable?

Just starting giving my ds baby food.  We are starting with veggies.  We haven't yet hit upon one that he absolutely loves!      So, was just curious which baby food veggie (store-bought or homemade) was your dc's favorite?

Peas were the first we tried and they are his favorite still.

By far her favorite is sweet potatoes!!  She loved peas but I always worried about the peel.  Also I would mix carrots & sweet potatoes since she didn't care for the carrots as much.

Dd's was always sweet potatoes followed closely by squash.  And don't get disheartened.  Dd didn't show a preference for something over something else until we'd introduced quite a few things and she finally really got the hang of it and would just eat more of something than something else.  Have fun!!

Goodness, when he first started solids it was a toss up between carrotts and sweet potatoes.  Then, once I introduced creamed corn he preffered that.  Now that he is on "normal" foods, he LOVES canned sweet summer peas ... the tiny ones.  He'll eat the potatoes and carrotts, but only after the peas are all done, or squished.

Alex loved all the orange veg - sweet potatoes, carrots and pumpkin/squash.

now she won't eat sweet potato or pumpkin no matter how many times i try.  strange!!! we have started Liv on sweet potato this past week so am hoping seeing baby sister eat it might bring out the jealousy and wanting the same  :oops:

Sweet potatoes of the store-bought veggies, Carrots of the mommy-made veggies.  I buy the organic peeled baby carrots and steam them in the Micro until really soft.  Then I puree them in the vita-mix.  They are MUCH sweeter and thicker than the store-bought!
