Cluster feeds - for growth spurts only?
« on: August 30, 2005, 19:52:50 pm »
Or am I right in saying that Tracy recommends babies are "tanked up" for the first 8 weeks?

It's just that the sample 3 hour EASY on here seems to suggest cluster feeds for when going thru a growth spurt.

From what I've been able to make out, most peeps on here seem to give the DF but not the cluster feeds.

What do you all do?

Hi,

I cluster feed and have never done the dreamfeed.  (I only started EASY at about 14 weeks with Jacob).  He is now 17 weeks and I still cluster feed him at night.

I also have no intention of stopping anytime soon.  I helps (I believe) get him to sleep through the night..typically, 8pm-4-630am.

I clusterfed and did the dreamfeed for about 7 weeks.  Even now, I somewhat still clusterfeed as she gets a bottle at 3-3:30...solids at 5:30 and another full bottle at 6:30.  :D
