bedtime/nap problems help!
« on: August 31, 2005, 18:43:02 pm »
My DD is just shy of 7 months, and is still taking 3 naps.  She often is down "for the night" at 6 PM, but often wakes every 45 min- 1hour or so until 10PM.  She is also up for a feed once during the night, and is up for the day around 6:15 AM.  I'm losing my mind here! I feel like all I do is put her to bed and hope she stays there.  She is fighting me especially hard at bedtime, but naps seem to go a little easier.  Most nights it has been 2 hours to get her to sleep.  I've had her on EASY for 2 weeks, and have been shh and pat (while in crib) an occasional P/D at naptime and bedtime for 8 days.  She is a touchy baby -so I have to watch very close for sleep signs.  I guess I want to know, should I be trying to get her to 2 naps, so the nights go better?  help!

Can you post what her typical routine looks like? Thanks!
