hiya mums, I'm new to this board but in need of serious help!
DD 9mths, has always had problems with nite sleeping,co sleeping while bf was lovely but has had a knockon effect in the long term, is on solids/bottles, weight gain/development all ok but waking 2-4 times a nite!
have tried
baby whisperer-pat/retreat
controlled crying-impossible to do, cus she will cry, stop, cry again.she then gets herself & me in such a state that I then hold her & make all the upset pointless!
typical nite: bath 7pm, stories, bottle(falls asleep on it)bed.9is wakes with wind, goes back down with dummy ok.between 1am-3am waking,sometimes goes back down ok other times after 1.5 hours of crying, clean nappy, water, dummy cuddles I give up & bring her into bed with us. not great & I need this to stop, but how???!!!!
I HAVE to get out of bringing her into bed with us but with so little sleep from the nite b4 I can't sit up with her as I am falling asleep with her in my arms in the chair!!!!
am feeling really inadequate & crap.need a supernanny/baby whisperer/mum's the word visit.
anyone?! help?!
