How come you are NOT supposed to cluster feed after 8 weeks?

Hi,
My little guy is 17 weeks old and I am still cluster feeding...(breast and bottle). I have no intention of stopping......he generally sleeps from 800-until 4-630am.
I understand that the book recommends stopping at 8 weeks. Does anyone know why?
Thanks in advance,
ML

I think after a certain point, most babies don't need the cluster feeds in the evening to be able to go longer at night. When that point is, really really varies! I know many moms who cluster feed for months - do what seems to work for your lo!
