I've just come across an article on these revolutionary nursing pads (named LILYPADZ) and wondered if anyone uses them? I feel a bit selfish but I really do find leaking and wearing a bra ALL the time the worst things about breastfeeding. So I'd just like honest testimonials please. Thank you very much.

Well, I am a little leery of buying them again but I feel I need to give them a good shot.  I got so excited about these when Noel was a few days old and I found them at the lactation consultant's office.  However, I was still engorged and had not "evened out" like you do once your breastfeeding patterns are more established.  So, they basically were "ruined" in those first few weeks.  However, I love the idea- the only problem was that if my breasts got very full, they lost their "suction" or stickiness- I don't know what you would call it.  So... I don't want to fork out the money for more.  But I think at this point (3 mos.) they might work better.  And I do hate wearing a bra w/ pads to bed just so I can keep from leaking if Noel goes longer than normal between feeds.
So- definitely don't buy them if you're still trying to get breastfeeding established!

I love them...but I agree, if you wear them too long without nursing or expressing then you will eventually have a leak. I just keep an emergency pair of regular breastpads in my purse if I think that I'll be out for a very long time (I can go for about 5 hours before leaking - and I make a fair amount of breast milk). But I do like them...they don't show through clothes like regular breastpads and you feel much drier. I also found that washing in hot soapy water will bring the adhesiveness back - and it works better if you can let them air dry.
