when is overstimulation not a problem?
« on: September 02, 2005, 21:26:09 pm »
hi everyone,

my ds is 5mo and very spirited. we live in the city too, so stroller walks doesn't help his tendency to get overstimulated :)

i was wondering when it becomes less of a problem? as in when can they play with one toy for more than 10 mins at a time, or when can you take them out for longer periods of time?

thanks!

I think overstimulation isn't a problem for the most part when they can self-soothe and they are on a good routine.

Though my babies aren't touchy/spirited so that may be a completely different case  :D

As far as in the stroller goes, when I knew it was around naptime I would always put a blanket over it to "block" out the world, maybe that would help?
