Hi there,

I would say 2 hours from waking....otherwise he might get super tired by the next nap time.

Hope your day is going okay!!!

Happy long weekend!!

ML :)

I don't know why I'm not trusting my instincts.  I guess it's because while I was trying to put him down the other 45 min. he did settle a couple of times for 10 minutes or so...it was so dark i was unsure if his eyes were closed.  then there was a noise and it woke him :(

anyway, at 11:15 he babbled, sucked on the crib rail, tried to rollover and fell asleep in about 7 min. with no intervention from me.

and no 10 min. jolt, or at least if there was I was cleaning the bathroom (nice Y time eh?!)

our neighbours are having a BBQ.  I can't wait to go over to relax.  They're just two doors down so we can go over after DS is down for the night!  I've had one night out without him since he was born (my bday) because he always went down so late.

That's another thing.  We have to go to a dinner party in a couple of weeks.  I sure hope he goes down in his pack n' play okay.  I'll be sure to give him a good wind down and be sure the room is dark.  Then we'll leave after his dream feed since I'll have to kind of wake him anyway.

hmmm, should be an interesting night!

you have a great weekend too.

he has slept unassisted one hour for his catnap (and still going)

I was going to wake him...not sure I should though. This way he'll be well rested and can go to bed a touch later.  The way the day was going (with a 30 min. nap to start) he was going to be in bed by 6:00!!!
