7 week old and a toddler -how do you do it?

Perhaps this has been posted before, but I just found this website.....have read Tracy's new book and cannot figure out how to spend the time getting the new baby (7 weeks) to nap with her method when I have a 2 yr old demanding my attetion! The baby ends up sleeping in the car seat, boucy seat and I know this is not a great situation.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
