Best way to start cereal

I am going to be giving my DS cereal (Milupa) soon and was wondering the best way to give it to him, bottle, spoon, or dropper.  Also how much to start off with?  Any suggestions are very appreciated :D

as far as i am aware, you should never give cereal in bottles, due to risk of choking. have not heard of using a dropper, would just use a soft small weaning spoon and prepare for the mess!

Hi Trudy - I agree with Horseymum.  If you have to use a dropper or are tempted to put it in a bottle (which is not a good idea, except for specific cases of reflux, under a doctor's supervision), then your lo is probably too young to start cereal - have you checked the Announcement "Is your baby ready for solids?" Your lo should be old enough to take it from a spoon and you only want to offer a Tbsp or so at a time (or even less! :) ).

We used cereal in the bottle, but only to thicken on doc's orders for reflux.  Otherwise, spoon is the way to go.   :)
