Dropping the dream feed
« on: September 06, 2005, 21:49:47 pm »
Can you help?

I have a 7 1/2 mth old son  :D who has 3 solid meals a day plus 4 breast feeds and the dream feed. I would like to try to stop the dream feed but because I am breast feeding I cannot add and subtract oz from different bottles. He has also never accepted milk from a bottle or cup.

I was thinking of slowly bringing forward the dream feed until it is close to the 7pm and then dropping it. Is this the best approach? :?

Thanks

Rosie

Yes, this is how you should do. You can start 15 minutes earlier than usual and depending on how fast you want to go, do this in a couple of days or take a longer time to get rid of it.
